Unfortunately, due to UNESCO and state regulations, Borobudur cannot be climbed so the sunrise… read more was done at Setumbu instead. The visit to Borobudur was breathtaking, nonetheless. The park is immense and the structure huge enough to be admired from all angles.

Ardi was very punctual and communicated the information the day before. He is very knowledgeable, not only about Indonesian culture but the history as well as the philosophies behind all the religions. As i was alone, he accommodated me by skipping Merapi Volcano Park and brought me to a market and a local gudek restaurant instead. I truly appreciated how generous he was with his time.

I really recommend this tour, and I must say our tour guide was excellent, he was very detailed, and did not leave any specifics of the itineraries unturned. Our tour guide is ARDI, if you want the best tour, he is the guy.
