Ardi gave me a lot of options and explanations about indonesian culture and history and we had quite some fun- it was like sharing a roadtrip with a friend. Be aware that… read more you have to pay for a tour guide at Borobudur and all of the entrance fees and for the jeep. There are a lot of extra costs, but they are worth it! Ardi was great and knowledgeable, but he did not accompany us on half of the attractions.

  It is unfortunate that we can’t visit the top zone of Borobudur, but the chance to understand some local culture is also fascinating.
